 Aeron&aacute;uticos (CENIPA) assuma a investiga&amp;ccedil;&amp;atilde;o sobre o acidente ocorrido 
em 31 de maio de 2009, o Comando da Aeron&aacute;utica julga necess&aacute;rio 
esclarecer os seguintes pontos:
&amp;bull;
 O acidente ocorreu em &aacute;guas internacionais e n&amp;atilde;o em &aacute;guas territoriais 
brasileiras. Portanto, a investiga&amp;ccedil;&amp;atilde;o do acidente est&aacute; sendo conduzida 
pelo Bureau d&amp;quot;Enqu&amp;ecirc;tes et d&amp;quot;Analyses pour la S&eacute;curit&eacute; de l&amp;quot;Aviation 
Civile (BEA), o &oacute;rg&amp;atilde;o franc&amp;ecirc;s de investiga&amp;ccedil;&amp;atilde;o de acidentes, em 
conformidade com o que estabelece o par&aacute;grafo 5.3 do Anexo 13 da 
Conven&amp;ccedil;&amp;atilde;o sobre Avia&amp;ccedil;&amp;atilde;o Civil Internacional (Conven&amp;ccedil;&amp;atilde;o de Chicago), da 
qual o Brasil &eacute; signat&aacute;rio.
&amp;bull;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&amp;nbsp;O CENIPA participa do processo de investiga&amp;ccedil;&amp;atilde;o, desde o in&iacute;cio, com um 
Representante Acreditado, que tem acesso a todos os passos e possui a 
capacita&amp;ccedil;&amp;atilde;o t&eacute;cnica necess&aacute;ria para avaliar o trabalho desenvolvido. A 
participa&amp;ccedil;&amp;atilde;o desse representante do CENIPA tamb&eacute;m est&aacute; prevista pela 
Conven&amp;ccedil;&amp;atilde;o de Chicago, no anexo 13, par&aacute;grafo 5.23.
&amp;bull;
 O Comando da Aeron&aacute;utica, embora veja a solicita&amp;ccedil;&amp;atilde;o dos familiares como
 um reconhecimento ao trabalho do CENIPA, considera que a presen&amp;ccedil;a do 
Representante Acreditado j&aacute; &eacute; uma garantia de que a investiga&amp;ccedil;&amp;atilde;o est&aacute; 
transcorrendo com a transpar&amp;ecirc;ncia necess&aacute;ria e de acordo com as normas 
internacionais.
&amp;bull;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&amp;nbsp;O Comando da Aeron&aacute;utica reitera que a fun&amp;ccedil;&amp;atilde;o dos &oacute;rg&amp;atilde;os de 
investiga&amp;ccedil;&amp;atilde;o e preven&amp;ccedil;&amp;atilde;o de acidentes aeron&aacute;uticos, tanto do Brasil 
quanto da Fran&amp;ccedil;a, n&amp;atilde;o &eacute; a de apontar responsabilidade e culpa, mas sim 
determinar os fatores que contribuem para a ocorr&amp;ecirc;ncia, tendo como 
objetivo emitir recomenda&amp;ccedil;&amp;otilde;es de seguran&amp;ccedil;a de voo que possam evitar que 
novos acidentes ocorram nas mesmas condi&amp;ccedil;&amp;otilde;es. Em conseq&amp;uuml;&amp;ecirc;ncia, qualquer

<description>&lt;div&gt;After 3 failed searches, millions of dollars spent, hundreds of lives lost, thousands of friends and family hurt, and the world watching, investigators have found the wreckage and some bodies from Air France Flight 447.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;div&gt;The wreckage was located less than 6 miles north of Flight 447&amp;rsquo;s last know location. Side-scan sonar detectors attached to an unmanned submarine discovered a field of debris across the ocean floor nearly 600 feet off the coast of Brazil.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;div&gt;Black and white images which you can see below were taken by the Remus 6000, one of the unmanned submarines that is being used to comb the ocean floor for the wreckage.
